We are in Tokyo!

After 18hours from our door, we are here in Tokyo. The airplane and train got delayed for total of 2 hours, so it was a really long day. Amalie has been so excited for everything. She loved going on the airplane, she enjoyed her kid's meal by herself, she got so excited with the jolt of the landing, she loved the train ride home, then she was so happy to see her grandparents, and finally she could explore the house and toys that she played with when she was just over 2 years old. On the other hand, I was so nervous doing everything, like paying money, getting on trains and taking the taxi. I almost hit a wall, and dropped one of my shoes on a bicycle. As well as I forgot that all train tickets go through the turnstile, and I handed them to the ticketing person. He very kindly explained to me how it works. Don't I know??? I went to school everyday by train, didn't I??? In fact, now, there is such a thing, Suica, which I just need to hold on top of the turnstile every train station and bus regardless of the line to pay fairs. We can buy from most vending machines and convenience stores using Suica. It's so high tech! Anyhow, did I age or what?!

We had a dinner with my family. Girls played happily.

Biking around neighbourhood.

Grandpa wants to spoil Amalie with lots of treats.

It was quite embarrassing taking pictures at Ginza which is probably the most sophisticated town in Japan.

Oh, I love Tokyo. Guys are wearing pink shirts for fashion, and nobody cares. People speak straight forward. Things are so creative and polished. I'm getting revived everyday. I am really happy here with everyone I love.
