バイバイ、思いっきりの木目調テレビ。ライアンが落として以来、画面がゆがんで人間がみんな短足だった木目調。そして、ようこそ我が家へ。今時ブラウン管のソニー。


今年は、医療費、渡日本費、冷蔵庫、そして１階全部の窓、 ウォーターヒーター、キッチンの改装費、出費がかさむのでココは抑えて、クレッグスリストにて、なんと”ただ”。でも、映りが良い。ゆがんで、色も変だったテレビしか知らない海璃になんだか今頃申し訳ない。



Bye-Bye, wood-cased TV. You were dropped once, and ever since then people had huge heads and short legs as well as the colors were off. And, welcome home the new 1991 SONY. It was free on Craig's list. We earned 4 more years before we need to get a fantastic flat screen, didn't we?!

I thought the old refridge would die any moment, but the Energy Trust guys who picked up it told us it would run another 10 years! Anyhow, now we need to remodel our kitchen. The new one is giant in this galley kitchen which was made in 1950's. Any good idea?

22年物の冷蔵庫。いつ壊れても困るので（それが、回収にきたおじさんによると、あと10年はもったのだそう。）買い換えたのは嬉しい事ですが、とにかく大きい。只今、キッチン改装計画中。何か、いい案はありますかね。

My reward.

31 plums. I love having fruit trees. We had a bucket full of strawberries and raspberries as well. Cherries and blueberries didn't do very much this year. Next thing is figs. So far, I counted 8 of them. Also, we have grape vines, a pear tree, an apple tree and a baby pomegranate. I'm an eat-aholic.



今年の収穫。

ストロベリーとラズベリー、バケツいっぱい。
さくらんぼ、どんぶりいっぱい。
ブルーベリー、お茶碗いっぱい。
プラム31個。今実り中なのはイチジク8個。
ぶどうとなしは今年は音沙汰なし。
りんごは来年あたり、実るのかしら。
ライアンの母に頂いたざくろの木も30ｃｍ位ですが、とても楽しみ。
本当はまだあとレモンの木も欲しい。食欲を隠しきれない庭になってきています。

Debut

Luther's park and swimming debut.

He loves swing! It's a total different experience with Luther than Amalie. He loves action. And, he is growing like a weed. He just fit in a size 12mo pajama, which is a little big for normal 12mo, so Amalie was wearing it when she was 19 months old. Besides, he must be teething already. He needs to chew on everything, otherwise he screams all day.

奏くんも公園とおうちプールデビューです。無理やり夏らしくプールで遊んでいますが、冷たくてただ事じゃない顔。

男の子、海璃とは全く違う事ばかりです。アクションがやたらと好きで、お茶碗いっぱいの離乳食は前菜、メインコースは授乳。お洋服のサイズは、すでに12ヶ月。海璃が19ヶ月の時にきていた少し大きめのパジャマ・・・（注：只今6ヶ月）ここ、数日は歯が生え始めるのかしら、口に何か入っていないと気に入らない様子で一日中叫んでおります。

海璃が作った飛行機。
これに乗って東京に帰りたいね。ん？海璃やルーサーにとってはココが帰る場所か。

それにしても、寒い。
朝、寒くてベッドから出たくないくらい。
公園から帰ると、「ホットココア飲む？ママもモカ作るから。」ってくらい。
夜、あったかいシャワーが心地いいくらい。
東京にいた時の熱帯夜、なつかしい。夏の洋服着ないで終わってしまうよ。秋の気配を感じすぎて食欲も旺盛すぎる。
