HOT!

七夕、お願い事しましたか？
学校から少しだけお裾分けしてもらった笹に、子供たちと飾り付けをして短冊も書いたのに、星空を見るのを忘れてしまいました。東京でも天の川見えるのかな？
ちなみに、ルーサーのお願い事は「ちゅるちゅるヌードル。」でした＾＾

On July 7th, it is the day you can see the most beautiful milky way.  Amalie got this small bamboo branch from her school, so we decorated it with origami, and made wishes.  Luther's wish was "eating noodles"!

いやー、それにしても暑すぎますね。
ルーサー君、一日数回シャワーを浴びています。そしたら決まってお水遊び。ついでに、アイスも食べちゃっています。

そして日課になってしまっている、アイスのお買いもの。裏のマーケットまでお散歩。ですけど、写真で見ていても猛暑です＾＾

It's super hot and humid here.  The kids take showers several times a day, and of course, they play in the cold bath with ice candies.  I can't take Luther to the park either.  The play structures are already too hot at 8:30am.  At least, he makes a daily trip to the market behind our house for his ice candies.  Hot!  Sun!  and Sweets! 

毎日、ブログ書かなきゃ、と思いつつ忙しいんです。こんなに元気で大丈夫かな。
今日はこれから小学校に私達のアメリカでの生活とほんの少しだけ命の大切さについて、お話しにいってきまーす。

I am really busy everyday.  A little nervous wondering if it's okay to be this fine.
At my daughter's elementary school, I'm giving a speech about our everyday American life and the importance of our lives.  Ha, my least favorite thing...public speaking.  I'm shaking.
