Inspirational nursery.

There are several things I regret for not doing earlier. This is one of them.  We've always passed by this nursery at the bottom of the hill by my in-law's house, and finally one night after dinner, we decided to visit there to see the Christmas lights.  It was an eye-opening experience.  I had to go back the next morning to see more.  It's not only a nursery; look at these photos!  It has dreamy gardens with fantastic plants and objects. Super inspirational.  Lots of thing we can't do in Northwest climates, but I certainly can see our little garden can transform a bit like this.  By the way, here is their information:

 木々のライトアップ、小道の先のドアまで、なんて洗練された世界なんだろう。

どうして早いうちにしておかなかったんだろう、って後悔することが時々あるけれど、どうしてこの植木屋さんに、もっとずっと前に来なかったんだろう？夫の実家のすぐそばにあるのに10年以上も素通ってた。先週ディナーの後に、子供達がクリスマスのライトを見たいというので、閉店20分前に滑り込んだら、あっけに取られる光景が広がっていました。さっそく翌朝戻ってみると、新境地。何もかもがステキ過ぎて、そっくりそのまま持って帰りたくなるような植木屋さんでした。オレゴンに帰ってきて、気が滅入りそうな空と寒さとぬかるんだ地面ですが、さぁ、シクラメン買うぞー。

見てお分かりかと思いますが、このドーナツ絶品です。油がしみてなくて、中がふかふかで生地は甘くないのに、お砂糖のグレーズィングはどっぷり甘くて、絶妙。ニューポートビーチ（コロナデルマー）にあるローズベーカリーです。お値段が12個でなんと10ドルしていなかった。家のそばにも欲しいーーー。

このお家に住んでいる人たちはどんな職業なんだろう。もし、ここに住む事ができたら、ゲストハウスを作って、ガーデニングして、プールで泳いで、子供達も遊び放題で、ビーチをジョギングして、朝は外でコーヒーを飲んで、夜は夕日を見ながらご飯を食べて・・・・ 来る度に夢を見ています。

It's been so long...

I don't even know how or where I can re-start writing my blog...it's been so long ever since I had an opportunity to sit more than 30 min.  There was no time for even sleeping or eating.  While my parents were here, we remodeled our kitchen, made a concrete and paver patio, re-textured and painted our living room walls, re-painted and decorated Amalie's room, finished slipcovers for three sofas.  My mom did all the household chores, and I was literally a construction worker from morning till late night.  Well, I'll post all the projects later.  Now, we are in the sunshine in California with my in-laws.  Blue sky, warm beach, fresh fruits, shopping, beautiful houses, garden, etc.  Oh, I love it here.

ずいぶん久しぶりで、もはや、どこからどうやって書けばいいのか分からなくなってしまいました。この数ヶ月間ブログどころか、睡眠や食事さえもままならない生活っぷりで、というのも、両親が来てくれている間に（母が家事を全てしてくれた間）、キッチンの改築を終わらせ、リビングの壁の下地を塗り替えて、ペンキを塗って、アマリの部屋を塗り替えて、裏庭にはコンクリートとペイバーでパテイオ作り、ソファー3つ分のスリップカバーを作り変えて・・・朝から晩まで、がっつりガテン系な毎日でした。どうにか写真だけは撮っておいたので、後ほど書いていこうと思います。嵐の中を全速力で走り抜け、今は南カリフォルニアに帰省中。太陽、青空、あったかい砂浜、おいしいフルーツ、ゴージャスな家々、お庭・・・夢みたい。
