Our harvest last weekend!

ゴールデンラズベリー、初めて食べたかも。
先週末もまたオーガニックファームに行って、きゅうり畑を耕してきました。そして、私達の収穫はベリー類。これ、お店で買ったらいくらだろう。高すぎて手が出ないだろうなぁ。

This time, we weeded cucumber crops for an hour and half, then we got to pick berries.

The kids and my husband found a bird nest.  There were broken egg shells on the ground.  Now, it is a raspberry nest:)

夫と子供達が鳥の巣を発見。下を見ると割れた卵の殻。無事に巣立ってくれたのかな？

These are ether marionberries, longanberries or boisenberries.  They were not quite ready, but we tasted anyway.  Delicious!!!  I am not a big fan of blackberries, and I thought there were sort of the same, but they are not!  Now, I have to asked my husband to come back to pick these while we are in Japan.  Would you, honey?

これはね、マリオンベリーか、ボイスンベリーか、ロンガンベリー。未知の世界です。実は今まで避けてきたんです。ブラックベリーの苦手な私、このベリー達も同じ仲間だと思っていたんです。でも、でも、全然違ったー。まだ、未熟だったので少しだけ味見させてもらったんですけど、どれも深みのある味でおいしいぃ。おいし過ぎます。私たちが日本に行っている間、夫に頼まなきゃ。一人でベリー摘みに行ってもらおう。行ってくれるかな、夫・・・。
