Isamu Noguchi at Japanese garden.

ノグチイサムさんの作品が展示されているというので、日本庭園に行ってきました。やっぱり良かったです。私よりも熱心にひとつひとつ説明を見ながら眺めていたのは、アマリでしたけど。もっと、いろんな芸術、見せてあげたいな。

 そして、日本庭園きれいでした。

和でしょ。

Japanese garden.  Isn't it beautiful?!

There is an exhibition of Isamu Noguchi there right now.  He is one of the artist I was influenced by.  There was one more person who was enthusiastically observing all the artwork...Amalie.  I need to take her to museums more often!

子供たちの一番は鯉。このあと、どしゃ降りの雨のなか、長々と池を覗き込んでいました。私は木陰に避難＾＾
 

The kids love koi fish.  They didn't want to leave even though it was pouring rain...
And, this zen garden...I don't understand any of it, but don't they look like polar bears on ice?
 
枯山水も。私には、氷山にのっかってる白くまさん達に見えるんですけど・・・。

このフェンス、家にも欲しいです。匠の技、美しいです。

こっちも。小枝で作られたフェンス。 高さ３ｃｍくらい、長さも20ｃｎくらいかな。だーれも見ないようなところに小人が作ったみたいなフェンスがありました。土砂を止めてるのかな。素敵。

If you have a chance to visit Portland, I highly recommend visiting this garden.  Rainy days are better.  It's so beautiful! hnnn, I miss Japan.
 
しばらく来てなかったけど、雨の日のお庭は、なぜだか心に響きます。ホームシックなのかな。
