Candies!

A day after Halloween, we got this much candy...and, our left over candy that wasn't given to trick-or-treaters.

Of course, the kids are really excited, and they didn't want to donate to my daughter's school, who is collecting candy today.  And, I heard, my friend told their kids that if they give their candy to The Great Pumkin, then they get presents in return.  Isn't that a great idea?  It sounds really exciting like Santa Clause.

もちろん、子供達は大喜びです。だけど、体にも歯にも悪いと思うんですけどね。学校でも、このキャンディを集めて寄附するキャンペーンがあるのに、拒否する子供達。私のお友達は、「グレートパンプキン（モンスター？）にあげると、プレゼントに交換してもらえるんだって。」と、子供達に言い聞かせていたそう。それって、すごくワクワクするけどなぁ。サンタクロースみたいで。

Yesterday, our Halloween started with Amalie's face paint.  She became Casper the Ghost.  My mom made the outfit out of Ryan's big white undershirt (new!).  

学校から帰ってきたら、大忙し。まずはフェイスペインティングから始めましょ。おばけのキャスパーになるはずのアマリ。コスチュームは、夫の巨大な白いTシャツ２枚（新品）を組み合わせて、母が作ってくれました。
