I'm HOME!

I'm home!  It's been two years.  This year, just the kids and I flew here, and Ryan is staying home.  I feel so bad separating them for a while; although we talk on Skype everyday.  I was  having a hard time with what other people would say about leaving my husband for a long time, but he thinks the kids need to be here to not only learn the language and culture but experience everything.  Japan is part of us.  Our kids are half American and half Japanese.  Both of us want the kids to be exposed to everything that we can provide.  When I heard what he thinks, I realize I chose the right person to be with.  Wow, serious talk...I must be seriously exhausted. Actually, I haven't slept or sat down for I don't even know how long...  Things should hopefully settle down soon.

After I gave a bath to the kids with my last bit of energy left-over from a day of flying with them, my mom's dinner was waiting for me.  It's nothing special, but she uses these beautiful plates for everyday dinner.  It's something I would like to do, but I think about the cost if the kids break them...or the extra time for hand washing them.  Our china is still in boxes since our wedding day.
